Street Reach to benefit from Fulflood’s Charity Ball in 2016
Street Reach Winchester is the chosen charity to benefit from the fourth Fulflood Ball, to be held on Saturday 9th April at Peter Symonds College.
Street Reach Winchester provides a fantastic service delivering street-based youth work to young adults in our local neighbourhoods, giving help and advice and building positive relationships with our young people.
Ben Martin, Project Manager from Street Reach said “Street Reach are delighted to be the chosen charity for the Fulflood Ball. As well as raising funds to carry out our much needed work with vulnerable and disadvantaged young people, the ball will raise awareness of our charity so that we can reach out to more young people across the Winchester area.”
The ball is made possible thanks to the generosity of a number of local sponsors and the Fulflood Ball committee are delighted that Belgarum Estate Agents have once again agreed to be the main sponsor.
John Leeson, Managing Director, Belgarum Estate Agents said “As an independent business based in the heart of Winchester our vision is to support our community as much as we can. We consider ourselves lucky to have been involved with the Fulflood Ball since inception, and once again we’re delighted to be the main sponsors of this fantastic community event which raises vital funds for local charities. We look forward to celebrating with the residents of Fulflood on the night!”
The Fulflood Ball, which is organised by a committee of Winchester residents, offers a fabulous opportunity to bring the local community together for a fun-filled evening and has raised a significant amount of money for worthy causes over the past few years.
The 2016 ball will see Peter Symonds College transformed into a glitzy party venue where ball-goers can enjoy fabulous food, live music, dancing, a casino and of course the infamous vodka luge.
Tickets for the ball will be on sale in February. For further details, please visit our website – www.fulfloodball.co.uk or visit our Facebook Page.
The inaugural Fulflood Ball was held in 2012 and raised £8000 for the children’s ward at Winchester Hospital. The second was held in April 2014 and raised £17,000 for The Theatre Royal. The third occasion in 2015 raised a staggering £25,000 for Home-Start Winchester.
The Ball was the brainchild of local Fulflood photographer, Catherine Skinner and is organised by a committee of dedicated local residents. More details of the ball can be found at www.fulfloodball.co.uk
